2. Mapping User Accounts
In some cases, a user may require two separate accounts within the Academy, for example, to enable Administrators or Instructors to participate in courses as learners. The Mapped Accounts feature allows you to link these two accounts, making it easy to switch between them without the need to log in and out. Please note, you will need to have created a second account and logged in to both accounts, before being able to map the accounts together.''
Note: The following steps can be performed by the User or by an Administrator who logs in as the user using the Log in as User button from the Users dashboard.
Setting Up Mapped Accounts
- Log in to your primary Academy account (e.g., as an Administrator or Instructor).
- Click the User Options button in the top menu on the far right (usually displaying your initials or photo/avatar).
- Select My Account to access your user information.
- Click the Mapped Accounts tab.
- Click the Add Account button.
- Enter the username and password for the secondary account, then click Add.
- Once the accounts are mapped, you can easily switch between them by clicking the User Options button, where both accounts will be listed. Simply choose the account you want to use for seamless switching.
Note: When logged in as another user, you won't be able to utilise the mapped account feature for switching between accounts.
