Adding and Managing Certificates

You can use the Certificates section of the Academy to add, edit and preview your certificates which can be awarded upon completion of a course or curriculum. You can also see a list of all users that have been awarded a certificate and upload images to be used in your certificate templates.
1. Viewing & Managing Certificates
- To manage your certificates, click the Certificates button on the dashboard.
- In the Operations column of the Templates tab, you can:
- Preview the certificate (PDF).
- Edit the certificate.
- Delete the certificate.
Note: You will not be able to edit or delete any certificates created outside your organisation (e.g. by Ideagen).
2. Viewing & Managing Users
- In the Users tab, you can see a list of all users who have been awarded a certificate:
- In the Operations column, you can:
- Preview the user's certificate (PDF).
- Change the certification data.
- Revoke the user's certificate.
- Delete the user's certificate.
3. Adding a Certificate
- Any certificates you create will be available to your branch (and sub-branches) only and are provided as a downloadable PDF file. Please note that Ideagen does not provide physical certificates.
- To add a new certificate, click the Certificates icon on the dashboard and click Add Template.
- Below is a table to explain the fields in the Add a Template screen:

This is the template for how the certificate, presented as a PDF, should appear. You can view and edit default content here, with a description of the fields available at the bottom of the screen. To personalise the presentation and information displayed on the certificate, you can use simple pre-defined tags such as <course>, <grade>, and <completion_date>. Image ratio | Leave the image ratio as 1.25 for an A4 certificate. |
- Once you have completed these fields, click Add.
