Adding & Editing Audiences

Audiences allow you to divide your users into logical groups based on certain conditions known as Rules, such as the sub-branch they belong to, their job, user type, or language.
1. Adding a New Audience
- To add a new audience, click the Audiences button on the dashboard and click Add Audience.
- Once you have completed the fields, click Add.
- Further options will then become available to edit the audience and set the audience conditions.
2. Editing Audiences
- The options to edit your audience will become available after creating the audience, or you can edit any audience by clicking the pencil icon from the Audiences screen.
- These options are displayed across tabs to edit its rules and see or edit the audience's Users, Courses and Training Sessions.
- The Rules tab allows you to set or edit the conditions for an audience.
- All users who meet all the rules specified will be assigned all the courses / training sessions you select.
- You can apply rules against any or all the following fields:
Fields | Description |

Branch | Select one or more sub-branches. |
Job | Select one or more job titles. |
User Type | Select one or more user types. |
Language | Select one or more languages. |
Extended Field | Not currently in use. |
Users | Enter the name of any additional users you wish to add to the audience. |
- Remember to click Update before progressing.
- The Users tab will display a list of all users who meet the rules specified in the Rules tab.
- Once you have set up the rules for an audience you can assign courses to this audience in the Courses tab.
- Select the courses to assign to the audience and click the Enroll Members to Courses button.
- All users in the audience will then see the courses in their course catalogue.
Notes:
- Only existing users in the audience will be enrolled onto the course(s) selected. Any users subsequently added to the audience will not automatically be enrolled.
- To assign blended learning courses to an audience, follow the process above using the Training Sessions tab.
