Configuring Mass Actions and Infographics in Reporting

Utilise the mass actions feature within reports to carry out actions on multiple users and courses quickly and efficiently. Academy also provides the ability to showcase information in a visually appealing infographic format bringing a fresh dimension to data presentation, and offers an engaging and informative way to interpret and share data within the Academy platform.
1. Mass Actions
- To apply a mass action to your users, go to the Users tab of the reports area and click the Mass actions button.
Note: The mass action will apply to all users displayed on screen. To apply the mass action to a subset of users, first apply a filter to your report. The mass action will apply to the data that results from the filter applied.
- Select the mass action you wish to carry out. A pop-up confirmation message will appear with any relevant options (depending on the mass action selected), such as which course to enroll the users on, and so on. Select your preferences where relevant and click Submit.
- To apply a mass action to courses, go to the Courses tab of the reports area and click the Mass Actions button.
Note: The mass action will apply to all courses displayed on screen. To apply the mass action to a specific course, or subset of courses, first apply a filter to your report. The mass action will apply to the data that results from the filter applied.
- Select the mass action you wish to carry out. A pop-up confirmation message will appear with any relevant options (depending on the mass action selected).
- Select your preferences where relevant and click Submit.
2. Infographics
- Within the Reports section, click the Infographics tab. A list of any infographics already created in your branch will appear:
- You can edit any existing infographic by clicking its Edit button - or create a new one by clicking Create.
- Every infographic must have a unique name. You must also select which branch the infographic will report. Ticking the Include sub-branches box will include the selected branch and all sub-branches.
- Once you have created your infographic, you're ready to start choosing what information to add to it. To do this, click Add Section.
Important: You must assign the section a name and you must select what type of information to include.
Information Type | Description |

Overview | A summary information about your Academy, e.g. how many courses, learners and branches you have. |
Insights | Informs you about general progress from your learners, e.g. how much your users are engaging with the Academy. |
Training Time | A graphic view on how much training has been taken, and your most popular courses. |
Logins | Shows how many people have logged into the Academy over a selected time period. |
Course Completions | Shows the number of instances of each status of course progress (e.g. registered, completed or failed). |
Tests/Assignments | Shows the completion and pass rates of tests (quizzes) and assignments |
Gamification |
Shows overall gamification stats, including the leaderboard. |
Note: When you select a type, you must then choose what information is displayed for that type. For example, if you choose tests, you must choose whether you want to include test attempts or average test scores.
- To view the infographic itself, click its View tab.
- On this screen, you can also click Export to save a .png copy to your computer.
Note: Any infographics you create can be seen and edited by other administrators.
